(Isra) 17 : 5

Then when the first Promise came, We sent against you Our servants, those of great military might, and they probed into the houses, and it was a Promise that has to be fulfilled.

After the departure of Moses, children of Israel deviated from the Straightpath and differentiated into different groups. They were told to enter Palestine with peace and tranquility. Instead of following the Lord’s command, the Children of Israel forcefully entered Palestine and tried to make it their land. Then mighty Amalekites (people of Palestine) opposed and suppressed them. The Amalekites were worshiping several deities including Baal and Ashtoreths besides Allah. They were leading a transgressed way of life spreading mischief in the land. Lord Allah disgraced the children of Israel by the hands of these people. It is told in verses Judges 2: 11-13: “Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord and served the Baals. They forsook Jehova, the Lord of their ancestors who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various deities of the people around them. They aroused the Lord’s anger because they forsook him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths”. When Children of Israel become transgressors, people around them expelled them from Palestine and took away the Ark which contained the discs of ‘10 Commandments’ which Lord Allah gave to Moses, the staff, the chapels of Moses, and samples of Manna and Salwa.

Then Prophet Samuel made Talut (Saul) as the King of the children of Israel by their demand to recover Ark took away by Goliath (King of Amalekites). On the way to fight with Goliath, Dawood (David) joined the children of Israel and he killed Goliath. Then under the kingship of Messenger Dawood, the Children of Israel recovered their pride and power. After the departure of Emperor/Prophet Suleiman (the son of King David), children of Israel deviated from the Straightpath and differentiated into two nations. One was known as Israel which is comprised of North Palestine and East Jordan, and its capital was Samaria. Then other was known as Judah which is comprised of South Palestine and Sodom, and its capital was Jerusalem. These two nations always clashed with each other out of enmity. People of Israel were attracted to idol worshipers. Prophet Illyas (Elijah), Al-Yasa’ (Elisha) tried to lead them into the Straightpath, but they failed. Then Prophet Amos and Hose were deployed to them for reminding them. But they rejected them and even killed them. Then mighty Assyrians conquered, suppressed, and expelled the people of the two nations. Then Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the nations completely. This was the first Promise of the Lord that happened upon the children of Israel. See explanation 2: 246-251.
